The Hoose Maquette

As part of our launch event, the team built a maquette to help explain how we build and the thinking behind the Hoose approach. What we didn’t expect was for it to become the team's MVP, with its own social calendar.

Straight after the launch, the maquette headed down to London to become part of the ‘Small Scale, Big Ideas’ exhibition at the Building Centre, which, due to its success, is being extended until the 5th of June.

Harrison Stringfellow Architects used the model at the event to help demonstrate their approach to low-carbon retrofit and the future of adapting existing Victorian terraced housing using natural, breathable materials, including timber structure and Sisalwool insulation.

Next stop for the travelling maquette is the Royal Highland Show, where we’ll be alongside the Sisalwool team.
