Principles and Policies
Our policies reflect how we work and what we stand for, from responsible sourcing and sustainability to transparency, safety, and ethical practice.
Supply Chain & Responsible Procurement Policy
Our environmental and ethical commitments are shaped by the materials we specify and the partners we work with. This policy sets out how responsible sourcing and procurement are approached across Hoose projects, and the expectations we hold for suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.
We prioritise working with suppliers who demonstrate responsible labour practices and safe working conditions, and who are transparent about the origin, composition, and environmental impact of their products. Preference is given to partners who support low-carbon, circular, or biogenic material systems, and who are open to collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.
Key suppliers are assessed on quality, reliability, ethics, and environmental performance as part of our procurement process. We comply with the UK Modern Slavery Act and expect the same standards from those we work with. Where potential risks are identified, we aim to address them through open dialogue and shared improvement. Where this is not possible, alternative suppliers may be sought.
We recognise that regenerative supply chains are still developing and that progress takes time. Rather than waiting for perfect solutions, we commit to learning, adapting, and improving our procurement practices as standards, knowledge, and availability evolve.
