Health & Safety Policy
Hoose is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for employees, contractors, clients, and the wider public. Health and safety is treated as a core value in how we work, not just as a compliance exercise.
We meet our responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act and all relevant UK regulations. Site-specific risk assessments and method statements are prepared for each project, and competent supervision is provided throughout construction activities. Appropriate training, personal protective equipment, and welfare facilities are made available to support safe working practices on site.
Incidents and near misses are taken seriously and investigated openly, with the aim of learning and preventing recurrence rather than assigning blame. This approach supports continuous improvement and a culture of shared responsibility.
Health and safety is a collective effort. Everyone working with Hoose has a duty to follow agreed safety procedures, report hazards or unsafe behaviour, and stop work if conditions are considered unsafe. Concerns can be raised at any time and will be addressed promptly.
Through clear communication, careful planning, and shared accountability, Hoose aims to maintain safe, well-managed sites that protect people, projects, and the communities around them.
