Hoose Team Photoshoot
Last week, the Hoose team gathered for something other than a meeting or a site conversation, a team photoshoot. Planning an outdoor shoot in Scotland in March was a bit of a gamble, but thankfully, the sun came out for us and made the day absolutely perfect.
The brief was simple, nothing overly polished or staged, we wanted to capture us exactly as we are. A team of people who enjoy working together, who share the same values, and who are building a business we’re all deeply passionate (and very excited) about.
As an early stage company, relationships really matter, and because Hoose is still small, working closely together just happens naturally. The day felt like a reflection of that, less like a formal photoshoot and more like time spent together as a team, sharing food, enjoying good conversation, and appreciating the fact that we are building this business side by side.
Our photographer for the day, Scott Richmond ,was amazing; he created an atmosphere that was relaxed and genuine, allowing the focus to remain on us as people rather than poses. There were plenty of conversations, lots of movement, and very little standing still for long.
And, as with most Hoose gatherings, Wee Bubs, our four-legged team member, was part of the action too, wandering through shots and getting as much attention as possible. A reminder that the day was about being human, and not perfect.
We’re delighted with the result, a set of images that feel honest and reflective of who we are right now: a team, a kind of family of sorts, at the beginning of a very exciting journey.
